If you're feeling like January was 3 months long, we're with you! If you've been following along, you know that we just spent a couple weeks back in Champagne hosting some wine professionals, catching up with our growers, and discovering new bottles to share! February is upon us and we couldn't be happier to be that much closer to Spring.This month's grower-feature is our beloved Caillez-Lemaire in the village of Damery!

If you know us, you know that winemakers Virginie and Laurent are like family but it all began with them stopping us in our tracks with their champagnes. We are heading into year four of working closely with them and each time we visit we continue to feel excited for the future! 

Damery is situated along the Marne River in an area where chalk features heavily in the terroir, giving a touch of class and refinement to the Meunier. It is this geography, paired with excellent winemaking, that puts Caillez-Lemaire in a class of their own. As France's "Guide Hachette" winemaker of the year in 2024, it's no wonder these champagnes demand to be put on a pedestal. We are honored to share them with you!
